The Pantanal Norte Lodge also called Hotel Porto Jofre is a fantastic hotel far in the countryside with the specialty of Jaguar spotting. The best period to make sure to see jaguars is between the end of May and beginning of December during the dry season. This period is suitable because of the low level of water in the river which permit the jaguar to hunt its prey along the the river sides.
The hotel offers fishing trips during the rainy season for a fantastic experience.
