The Macuco Safari is not only the most important tour of the falls region; It is one of the most interesting in Brazil. It’s not every day that people have the opportunity to take a bath under the waterfalls, so be sure to take advantage.

The journey begins when the electric vehicle runs through the woods while the instructor makes some explanations and gives information about the fauna and flora you´ll see on the way. Then comes the phase of the walk (which can be skipped) in a well-structured track. The final part is the best one, when everyone prepares to board and feel the wonderful feeling of getting through the large Iguaçu river waters.

During the boat ride all remain seated, watching the idyllic scenery of the place. The pilot makes maneuvers with the boat, taking passengers to ecstasy. The camera can be used until such time that all are warned that the waterfall is near. The waterfall bath is delicious, “geladinho” and super refreshing – but always wet! No need of raincoat, everybody comes out soggy. With a few seconds under water and some maneuvers in the Iguaçu River it is impossible that this day does not get recorded in memory.
