ABOUT THE HOTEL

One of the most comfortable and authentic jungle lodge in the Brazilian Amazon.
The Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge is a small hotel that seeks to combine comfort and contact with nature in a harmonious and subtle way. His team is ready to welcome you with the utmost attention, safety and care in different languages.
Totally based on the concept of sustainability, focused on minor impact and ecotourism, the hotel has: sewage treatment plant, solar water heating, guest participation in the decision on the change of bed linen and towels during their stay, selective collection Trash, training of hand-intensive local program, partnership with the community and rigorously respects the Permanent Preservation Area.
The architecture follows what’s more regional; lots of straw, wood and suspended stilts type structures, for the best comfort of your nights. Throughout the hotel, the rustic is highlighted with modern touches that emphasize the beauty of natural materials and their role in its structure. There are 20 accommodation arranged in adjoining 16 standard cottages and 4 individual bungalows, which are all equipped with split air-conditioning, box beds, hot and cold water, refrigerator and a cozy balcony.

TRANSFERS CONDITIONS

– Regular Daily Transfers are offered in two fixed times. The way to the Lodge is done in a paved road with vans or cars with an average of 2:30h.
Attention when scheduling flights on both arrival and departure from Manaus. In respect of all guests, the Lodge have flexibility for the time of pick-up and drop-off of regular transfers.

Transfer IN Manaus-Lodge:

Between 08:00 and 09:00 for pick-ups at any Hotel in Town, 2- Until flights arriving at 14:15 for pick-up leaving from the airport. During Daylight saving time in Brazil, departures from the airport happens for the flights arriving untill 13:15. Pick-ups at the Airport will make the guests to miss the first tour of their packages.

Transfer OUT Lodge-Manaus:

At 08:00 for those going straight to the airport with flights from 13:00 to 19:00, 2 – At 14:00 for those going to Hotels or late flights. Guests leaving the Lodge at the 08:00 will miss the last tour of their packages.

THE COTTAGE

There are 16 standard rooms spread in 8 cottages suspended on stilts like structures with two apartments per unit and private balcony facing the forest (27 m2 each). Electricity voltage 110V. The chalets are equipped with silent air conditioning, hot and cold shower, safe, minibar, hair dryer, litter box (double queen or single), private balcony with hammocks. Capacity: 1, 2 or 3 people.

Location of Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge:

The lodge is located about 180 km northwest of Manaus, in the municipality of Novo Airão, on the right bank of the Rio Negro, the largest river archipelago in the world (Anavilhanas National Park).

Access to the lodge:

Access to the hotel is done both by land and by boat. From Manaus, after crossing the fantastic Rio Negro in one of the regular ferries, you follow in a comfortable van by a little road that cuts through 180 km of jungle, ending in the small town. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the village down the Rio Negro; access by river does suffer from droughts that occur every year in the region. (Dry season)

PARTICULAR HOTEL CONDITIONS:

• Three meals per day (typical of the region): breakfast, lunch and dinner with water, juice, coffee and tea;
• Transfer overland in / out from the airport or hotel in town. Shuttle hours: 9:30 a.m. or 15h. They do NOT offer transfers at night neither early in the morning;
• Accommodation in standard bungalow with balcony and private bathroom;
• Tours of the respective package;
